Skype Day

Last night Mindy, Jeff (my supervisor), and I had the opportunity of skyping with the BSU (Baptist Student Union) from the University of Mississippi. This group is part of an adoption here in Peru. You may remember that I have been to Chirani in the jungle a couple times...it was with these students. But their director (Liz) contacted us and asked if we would be wiling to share a little bit about our experiences as missionaries. So we had that meeting last night with about 180 college students on a big screen. It was fun! We had the opportunity to share a little bit about our call to missions, cultural differences here in Peru and how we cope with them, where we have seen God working, and a little encouragement to the students. We really enjoyed connecting with these students. Thanks Liz for giving us this chance...it was a blessing! :)
